start by weening yourself away from the computer, allow yourself only an hour or two on the computer a day. and only do the necessary things you need to do: i.e. bills and research. You will then lose interest in all the other features of the internet that you are currently attached to, i.e. chatting. its an easy but process that requires dicipline.

Before you turn your computer on, set an alarm clock for five minutes ahead of the time you want to get off of it, finish what you were doing or save your work and turn it off within those five minutes.

Reach over to your moniter and turn it off,then turn your cumputer off,then un plug your keybourd and mouse,and get up from your chair,go out side,and breath in some fresh air.
