I've been watching the seasons starting at the beginning for quite some time now. I'm on the fifth season right now.. and it just seems like everything is a little bit off? The whole atmosphere of the show just seems really different... Is there any reason for that? or does it get better? or do you even know what I'm talking about?
or am I just crazy.. lol

It just seems like they're more off-beat, and not so serious anymore. And the music seems different, and just the plots in general, I can't explain it.. it almost feels like a different show to me.

Stick with it. The show really kicks ***. It's a pretty dark show sometimes (because evil wins almost every episode), so you gotta have some humor in there. You still have some fantastic episodes in front of you.
The best comical episodes are 'Jose Chungs from Outer Space' and 'Clyde Bruckman's last Repose'.

i used to be a fan of the show. the beginning is good with storyline and acting too. however, after 3 or 4 seasons of it, the show started to make no sense. also it gives u a sense of "rubbish" as if the producers are just filming the show because they had to make it go on, NOT because they can come up with good storyline. disappointing .....

Most shows start to go downhill by the fifth season. You start to notice they repeat story lines and the actors don't seem to care. The chemistry seems to be gone. I noticed that with XFiles during its regular run on TV.

It did start to go downhill by the 5th season. But you have to see it to the end. Otherwise, how will you know what happened?

you should try watching the movie. alot of things will start making sense. it will pick up again though. i have them all!

wait till you get to the end of the final season...........disappointing.
