I am 15 and my brother has been acting very scary when he is sleepwalking. At first he would come to my room and rip apart my dolls or break things. He talks in his sleep too and says things like I am hurting him or to leave him alone. My mom and the doctor said he would never hurt me but I am scared. Last night I got up to go the bathroom and I saw him walking up the stairs. He noticed me and was looking at me weird. I ran into my room and put my covers over my head. When I took the covers off he was above me and he started showing his teeth and hissing like at cat. Then he tried to bite me on the face. I screamed but my parents dont believe me. What do I do?

It could be that this is all in your head, but it very well might be true. Perhaps you should try to wake him up when he's like that.

Ask your brother what he dreams about. Ask to get a lock on your door, talk to a school counseler ,or be persistent with your parents. Make them believe you. You could even go to such lengths as to put a camera in your room to catch him in the act.

omg if this is really true, you definetley want to get help in that house. Tape it if possible, if your parents dont beleive you, school councelors will get the ball rolling, that would indeed be scarey. Locks on the bedroom door in the meantime, or baracade the door. If he tries to get through the baracade he's perhaps not really asleep! Get help.

if i were you i would have your parents take him to your doctor who can take you to a specialist that deals with sleeping disorders and if your worried about your parents not believing you then i would video tape him or take pics of what he has done or while he is doing it
