I have a couple of Frank Black albums and really like his songwritting, but totally missed out on the Pixies the first time around. Just watched their apearance on Austin City Limits and liked the show... wondering which album to buy first.

Doolittle is my favorite Pixies album.

Yeah definetely Doolittle.....but is you want all their top tracks then try the Pixies double CD. There is a great pixies live dvd out too that you can suss their chord shapes etc
