No. World War is an over statement we're in the process of a new type of warfare. World wide, state sponsored terrorism. The high tech military might of the United States and the Western powers Vs. the low tech ingenuity and fanaticism of the middle east and the developing world. It is type of warfare more akin to guerrilla warfare such as the barbarian masses raiding and picking at the Roman Empire rather that a World Struggle such as the Axis Vs. the Allies. The USA and her Allies must be very clever and adapt quickly. The Roman Empire as powerful as it was did not last forever. Personally I think it all hinges on who the next President is. It's time for real intelligent, courageous, decisive leadership.

Not the brink, but more like the slow march towards it. Seems like things are becoming a combination of a religious war and a Third World vs. The West mentality.
For instance, I remember actually dating someone from Mexico and on one of our last few dates, we went to watch The Day After Tomorrow in TJ. The whole theater cheered when they showed the scene of Americans crossing the border into Mexico to avoid the coming Ice Age. Later on that night, we had a little arguement over why the US shouldn't be so nosy in other nation's affairs and stop being the world's policeman.

No, I do not think we are on the brink, I think we are already in the third world war. I think, that not too many nations realize that we are. Much like Great Britain was one of the few nations that saw the second world war long before the USA and many other nations.

on the tip of the only thousand 12 months reign of Christ Jesus, Rev.20:a million-6, all evil would be long gone, Rev.20:7-10, Gog and Magog could never have been if God did no longer keep Noah by using the flood, now resurrected 1Cor.15:22-28,fifty one-fifty 3, as offsprings of Adam by using Noah, they have no admire for their life or the life of others as quickly as they have been given each possibility, comparable as devil, hearth rains down from heaven to eat them, devil, the beast and the fake prophet is in the lake of hearth, and the SAINTS, are all it is left upon the breadth of the earth new at Rev.21:a million-5, heavenly come all the way down to greet the earthly saints the place all is made new, Rev.21:8, new earth is cleansed. All no longer getting the promised eternal life has self to blame.

THIS TIME... instead "this will be the war to end all wars..." humanity will be gone after nuclear weapons kill off everyone. WW1 was a war to end all wars... there was ww2... this time, we have enough firepower to wipeout mankind into the stone age with a press of button. We are going to have a war soon... I hope peace and tolerance can avail...
