At the greatest time of course, the middle of the night on a weekend. My dumb self may have had my Soc. Sec card in it. So Im going to try and go talk to them monday... I've called my bank, and called a credt reporting company to put an alert (if successful it shoul be placed on all 3 companies.) Ive called about the credit card in the wallet, but im still really worried. I have to wait to file a report with the police (cuz its almost 1am on a saturday). So lots of fun. I hate life right now. :(

I cant call some places (like DMV for my license) and I have to wait to file a report with the police (cuz its almost 1am on a saturday).I'm hoping I havent forgotten anything. So lots of fun. I hate life right now. :(

Okay, so I was leaving work.. I had my wallet in my hand because we have a card we clock in and out with. I remember putting the card back in my wallet, and I thought I put my wallet in my purse. Im hoping maybe it fell out inside, or one of my co-workers found it, and I'll get it tomorrow(im praying so hard for that). But I went to go to the store and realized I didnt have it, searched my car, and even drove back to work. Didnt see it outside. All I can do is hope, but in the meantime Im freaking out.

Awww............ I feel bad for you! cause it happens to me all the time! I'm so absent minded that I have to put my key and my wallet and now my cell phone in a certain spot or else i go nutty crazy when I lose them. I've had to call the police and cancel everything and the next day I found it under the bed. Have you tryed to retrace your steps? Good Luck

I think you can still go to the police station & report it as it is open 24 hours!
Its crap - I know, my entire bag with wallet, camera etc. got stolen in a club on my birthday!! It sucks!
Fone the club too cos it may well have been handed in by cleaners etc.!

Someone I know had his wallet fall out of his pocket on the subway at rush hour (!!!!) - and it was turned in, he got it back, and it had all the money in it too!!!
You can't count on this, but I thought it may make you feel better for the rest of the weekend. Honest - its a true story.
