Actually more disturbed than I ever thought I'd be, any death is bad, and celebrity deaths are usually shocking in situations such as his, but I find myself thinking of his family and his homeland, they loved him so much and with good reason, he was a good man, unusual, but a real life character. He was passionate about what he did, he will be missed.

The saddest thing is that by the time his son is an old enuf to remember his childhood, he won't have any living memories of his father. Not Steve Irwin, the "Crocodile Hunter" but, HIS FATHER.

Oh common people die everyday. He used to do stupid things and everyone knew that he was playing with death everytime he was near a croc. I wasn't shocked at all. Ok I am sad that he died but I don't think he deserves this kind of attention/ I'm sad for the poor stringrays that were killed because of people like you who can't understand that it was his mistake to be there.

People please get over this topic and stop wasting your five points in asking the same questions over and over time after time! no one was obsessed or even mentioned him when he was alive so why obsess over him now that hes dead? Let his family mourn in peace and lets all move on

It was not shocking that he died, only that it was death by stingray. The smart money was on death by crocodile.

Are you Billy Ray? Are you stingray? Who wants to know!? Who wants to know?!
