For me It all depends on the quality of life you are living. I don't want to have someone change my diaper. That was okay when I was a baby. I raised a fine family. Worked a job I loved. Retired and was active for a few years. Then my health began to fail, one thing after another. I 'm dependent, needing someone to cook and do all house work for me. I can take care of my personal needs. I have my mind and feel I'm pretty sharp for my age. I read 2 or 3 hours a day, write family histories extensively, Listen to music and talk radio. I can't wait until November when NBA basketball starts. I love life and keep busy and I'm at peace with myself and all who know me. I have my headstone and burial plot and I have my funeral planned. When the time comes and this old world decides to stop long enough to let me off, I'll be ready. I want to add that I really wouldn't want to live to be a hundred. Not to worry about something that's inevitable. Oh . . .one thing I forgot. Yahoo Answers is fun and addicting and is taking me away from my hobbies, but it's fun and very enlightening.

It really depends actually. I'm not saying that one should die young, but living to 100 years old isn't always ideal. As we get older, chances of diseases showing up also increases drastically. I just want to remain healthy and live as long as possible while healthy (I think it's rather unfortunate to live to a very old age, while being very sick and unable to move - that completely takes away the hapiness of being alive). So if everything goes well, I'd say 90 is very good.

There is no ideal age to die. Barring accidents, you will die when your body is ready. Look after it well ande you will live a good life.

I say 99 cuz then you most definitly can say you have lived a life one year away from onehundred and don't die of like a cancer or like in yur sleep get hit by a car so technichally you could of lived to 100 so people can say you were going to 100 if it weren't for that car and they feel real bad about yur death.
P.s.
