I am thinking you have someone coming in 2 days you have to impress? So do some cheating. Go round room by room. Get rid of ribbish, tidy clutter out of sight. Spray polish on feather duster, go round starting at ceiling and working down to skirtings. Hoover, then polish surfaces up with duster. Don't forget door handles and light switches, dead giveaway. Spray no vac carpet freshener and air freshener and shut door. Try not to use rooms you dont have to. Bathroom and toilet- use nice smelly cleaner for bath, sink, toilet and sills. Do floor, bleach toilet. Kitchen- sweep down all surfaces, getting rid of crumbs. Then use bleach spray. Particular attention to sink and bin and fridge door. Buy lillies and place in vase in hall and cook some parbaked baguettes and make coffee just before guests arrival. good luck

That can be rather demanding. Especially since you seem to be talking about deep-cleaning.
When you get up in the morning, strip the bed and start laundry, then grab glass cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, and lysol as you go back to the bathroom. Spray the bowl cleaner in the toilet and let that work while you're attending your usual things. And after you finish, finish cleaning the bathroom.
Fill your tub with water and a cleaner, and throw your blinds in there to soak. And take your drapes to the laundry hamper and clean your windows.
Next, take a large garbage bag and throw out everything you don't want. If there is something you are not sure if you want it or not, put it in another container such as a large basket or crate. Then take a bucket of water and a rag, and dust off everything.
By now, your blinds should be ready to be wiped, dried, and rehung. And sometime during this time, your bedding would have been finished washing, so you can toss that in the dryer and start on your drapes. Use the gentle cycle: A lot of drapes don't respond well to anything else.
Move your furniture around as you vacuum, then vacuum your furniture. You should be able to either rent a carpet cleaner, or hire a carpet-cleaning service.
In the kitchen, you will want to take everything out of your cabinets and wipe them out well. If you feel up to it and have help, move out your appliances and clean the floor under them. You will be amazed at the ammount of grunge that can build up there!
After all that, sweeping and mopping the floors will be a relatively simple matter.
And yes, if you have a family, get them to help too. What I just described IS a lot of work, after all!
Good luck!

Start with a quick once over on each room, room by room. Remove items from one room, get some good cleaning supplies and go at it. Move everything that belongs in that room where it belongs and move on to the next room. If you've got a friend that will work for peanuts, get some peanuts and offer them up for some cheap work. Even if you are not able to get the house spotless in two days (which should really not be a problem as long as you keep the TV and internet off) then do your best to make it appear spotless... hide things underneath couches or in cupboards or whereever.

Start your wash.Go through a do a quick pick up.Put things into a basket and put it away until you have more time to go through it. Then start your vac.sweepand sweep down the ceiling corners, mop, dust, and then do the kit. Before bed on the last night do the bathroom so it will be fresh.Keep a cleaning cloth with you and wipe down light switches as you walk through the house going from one errand to another. Keep the wash going and fold it when you sit to rest! Make one trip be for more thatn one item by tlking the laundry to a room and dusting that room while you are there.Straighten it andleave it done. Go to the next room. You will be finished before you know it. If you will start with the basket every night to pick up it will help on regular cleaning days because you won't have so much to dig through to actually clean the floors or dust.Put the items in each room as you go towrd your room to go to bed.If you have family put the items by their door and have them put them away before bed.Staighten the bathroom every night before bed.Clean the kit after each meal with help from family NO MATTER THEIR AGE OR SCHEDULE!Best wishes and I hope you make it!

Grab a garbage bag (Big one) and go from room to room and throw away any trash that you see. While brushing your teeth in the AM throw some toilet bowl cleaner in the toilet, and spray the shower. Pick up dirty clothes and put them in the hamper. While the laundry is going vacuume the carpets. If you have kids, get them to pick up their own toys, and clothes.
