In a way, yes. The reason I'm pro-choice is because I believe that until a child can live outside of it's mother's body, it cannot be considered a soverign entity. Now that doesn't mean that an abortion done before a certain point isn't humane, in fact an abortion outside the First Trimester, let alone without just cause is inhumane in my opinion, but point is, the child clings to the mother for life for most it's development. Not meaning to sound inhumane (if I do), but by those standards, until a certain point, a fetus relies on symbiotic practices to remain alive.
Furthermore, it pisses me off that Conservatives are so concerned with banning abortion. As I've said above, I don't condone abortion after a certain point, and neither do I advocate using it as a birth control method, but legal abortion is nevertheless for the better. There were abortions happening before it was legalized, but it risked the lives of both the fetus and the mother, let alone risked mangling the baby without aborting it,. And more off, why do they care so much about a baby they won't see? There are a number of ignorant women who just get abortions to keep from having a child and no other reason, but there are special circumstances. Before anyone can judge anyone, they need to take a step or two in their shoes, given the other in question has shoes, but that's another story. Plus, they seem only concerned about the fetus before birth. Once they are a living entity, or wholy living entity, it seems like they're no longer their problem. They don't care. So until they give a damn about born children, I don't care to hear them of all people preach about saving them before birth.

In my opinion abortion is murder. Doesnt matter if it needs its mother to stay alive or not, the second that child is concieved it becomes the mother AND FATHER's respondsibility.
But I am pro-choice because abortion is a women's issue somthing I can never understand. And neither myself, the goverment, or anyone else has the right to make a decision like that for anyone else. They are the ones that have to live with the consequences of thier actions. And there are situations in which abortion is the only option. No matter my beliefs they mean nothing when it comes to someone else's right to freedom, their right to make their own decisions.

I am very liberal but i think abortion is wrong.....I however think that we shouldn't interfere with a womans right to do what she wants with her body.....Maybe you might call me a hypocrite but I think my views are legitimate. We need to offer more alternatives and improve life for people and this way reduce abortions.

When a woman contemplates this action,it,s a heartwrenching decision. No woman takes such drastic decisions lightly. The decision should be hers to make, without hindrance or contoversy. For a start men should just leave this subject to women.Women should encourage debate, not preach. However in the final analyses the woman in question should be free to make her own decision

it is if it is rape...i see it like this...u know exactly what u were doing and the consequences of it...if u cant control urself, how is it the baby's fault? so lets kill it, right? WRONG...i agree, it is ur body...but obviously u werent thinking about that when u had sex...in my opinion, a baby would be the last of my worries...w/ all the disease u can get, id rather have the baby...
and i bet some women here arent going to agree w/ me and its probably b/c they dont want to face the truth...well, truth hurts...
still, no offense to u or any woman...this is just my opinion...

You might be a perfectionist, but you're not perfect. If you want to get somebody to listen to you about mistakes they've made, start by identifying your own. Believe me, they'll certainly listen to that! As you do, you'll make it safer for them to own up.
The right way is to lay heads together with your partner to find-out the best way. Keep on your faith, baby.

It is only a right as long as it's protected by law. Most young women in the U.S. take this right for granted and don't fight legislation restricting and banning it. As a result, they may not have this right for too much longer.

What of it? I think that if it is necessary to save the mothers life that it should be used to save that life, but in any other case no, because wrather you like it or not... that person inside of that girl is a life also.
