I have to go with home schooling because I didn't learn that much at my old public school. Then again It was probley just cause it was a sorry school.

I like the idea of home schooling, but public school has the social aspect, where a lot of learning takes place as well. And yes, contrary to popular belief, most teachers DO teach.

I'd love a happy medium - smaller schools with fewer students per class, opportunities for teachers to inspire and create, parents involved...

Can you tell I'm a former public school teacher? I hope I can create that happy medium some day.

It's been a while since I was in school. I attended public school, but in todays world, I would have to go with home schooling.

You have to pay the taxes regardless so you might as well send the children to public schools. The education received comes alot from the child themself and a little from the parents. The school system makes only a minimal difference.
