My hubby hates wearing jewerly but still wears his. He tried to talk me into getting our rings tattooed on so he wouldn't have to wear jewerly. Which I think you should give your significant other that option if they don't want to wear theirs.

My husband no longer wears his wedding ring... He is a correctional officer
There are many jobs where wearing a ring is dangerous (mechanic, police officer, correctional officer, factory worker, etc.) Some men and women in these and other jobs opt to not wear a wedding ring because there is a very good change they will get the ring snagged on something and have a finger either injured or amputated... Or in the case of public safety officers a ring can become snagged on something during a scuffle placing them at a disadvantage when wrestling an armed and dangerous person seconds count and getting a ring snagged can cost precious seconds... Worst case scenario the officer is killed in the line of duty due to the seconds lost...
There are a lot of reasons people choose not to wear their wedding rings not all of them are for reasons of cheating or subterfuge....

My husband has never worn a wedding ring, but he is not the player type. He just hates wearing any kind of jewelry -- always has. We've been married 18 years with no problems, so I believe him.
I also know a guy who never takes off his wedding ring and he is getting more action from more women than most bachelors. So go figure.

I was wearing my ring but the job i'm in I can't wear it because I could lose a finger or worse my hand or arm if it gets caught on machinery. Other than that I would still be wearing my ring. Honesty, I can't see any other reason why not to wear your ring.

well if its not because he can't wear jewellery e.g rash etc.
it would be because he doesn't want any women he meets to know he is married it maybe flirting but probably more than that sorry if this is your man your talking about.
