No. To start off, you can't have two service providers at once. Let alone can you have a calling plan from a CDMA provider on a GSM phone. You can easily transfer your number if you see fit, but you cannot use your old minutes. You would have to cancel your account on Verizon, or wait for its term to end.

No. Sidekicks are only compatible and usable with T-Mobile. I used to have one (sidekick II), but now have Cingular... wish I could have taken it with me.
