Can I just put two stamps on it and mail it? Thanks in advance for your help. The cards are 5 in x 5 in., if that matters.

Yes.. postage outside of specified parameter will incur a surcharge.. square envelopes sometimes do it. go to usps.com and search for First Class Mail size limits... you will find info on what is considered oversized.. but I think your 5 x 5 will fit undere the limit and still go at your normal rate.. however the non-machinable surcharge is 13 cents on top of the postage rate for the weight of the piece.

You probably could put two stamps on, and that'd cover it.
But if you took it to the post office, you probably could've saved money. If you care about some cents...
But yeah they tell you at the post office how much it is. They have single cent stamps you know...

If it's like those Hallmark square cards, then two stamps will do it. I send them all the time

Oh who knows, the mail is such a rip off! Just slap two stamps on there, that'll cover it.. it's probably some minuscule half cent anyways, but just enough to where one stamp wont cover it and you have to use two. Why would it cost more anyway, ya know?!?!

The postage is no different on the shape of your letter, just the weight.
