You might have the two best defenses in the league, period.
It almost doesn't matter who you start. Actually, after watching San Diego dismantle an awful Raiders team, it's hard to imagine them having a harder time with an awful Titans team.
That said, the Bears are at home and playing a team in Detroit that managed six whole points on Kickoff Day at home. So much for the Mike Martz offensive era in Detroit. Worse, Lions receiver Roy Williams has already shot his mouth off in the press, guaranteeing a victory against the Bears this weekend. Yup, nothing like riling up the league's best defense...at their house...when they still haven't allowed a point this season...
We may have to invent a whole new word for what the Bears will do to the Lions this weekend, because I suspect the term "blow-out" might not be strong enough. Maybe "extinction-level event"...
Go with Da Bears.

As much as I am a San Diego fan, you have to start the Bears D. The Bears have more threats to score Defensive/Special Team TDs and create turnovers. The Chargers may get more sacks, but most likely the Bears will have 1 to 2 more turnovers and a score as well.

Long term, take the Bears... The Bolts looked good because they played one of the worst teams in the league... The chargers have one of the best front 7's in the league, and they played a team with the worst O-line in the league... But all-round the Bears are the Def to have...

Nice problem to have. Personally I'd keep the Bears and trade the Chargers away...you don't need probably the top 2 defenses on your team.

Chicago is great, but do not sleep on San Diego.
I would use SanDiego this week simply because of the matchups.
Be careful not to think Chicago is perfect, they are not.
PS. What a great problem to have!!!!!
