I know you don't want to hear this, but you have to TELL.!! You are in an abusive, disfunctional family atmosphere and it will never get any better. Don't know your age, but staying may cost you your life. Do you not know at least one adult you can trust? Can you look up Child Protective Services in your town? You can just walk into any police station and request help. I know you are against reporting this abuse because you don't know how it will turn out...but your taking a chance on you or your brother being killed if you continue to live there. Look up the Boys and Girls Club or Father Flannigan's Home hotline numbers...or any hotline....they could give you advice on how to do this safely. Wait till no one is home or call from the outside....just get someone else involved before it's too late..God Bless!

SOMETIME JUST TALKING IT OUT HELPS , been there and running away doesn't solve it and sometimes only makes matters worse if you want some real advice you need to give all the facts and maybe a good trusted adult such as your mother or grandparent could help if not then a school counselor. but don't keep it bottled up because that leads to more and bigger problems down the road GET HELP NOW !!!!even at a family crisis center

Well, there is no easy answer to this. You will put up with it until you can't any longer, then you will have to call family services.
I got beat all the time by my dad, but that was 35 years ago, and the rod was the way back then.
If you insist on holding out here, at least document every instance that you can, time, action, everything. This way you won't be put on the spot to remember details. Fear then is going to cloud your recall.
I don't know who you are, but I will pray for you and your brother. God knows who you are. It is 2 am, I am going to pray right now.

i wouldnt call the cops cuz where im from it takes a lot to get them to take care of ur problems especial when the probs r a home. anyway i would get some thug a$$ dudes to whoop his a$$ and scare the he!l out of him. Let him know how its gonna be for now on for him to keep his hands off me. but u prob wouldnt do that so i guess u could make in announce call frm a phone not in ur house to the local CPS office (child protective service) let them know u saw bruises on the child and u suspect child abuse and the man of the house isnt even the childs father. when they come to investigate u tell the truth and they will put an order of protection on him to refrain from touching or verbally abusing u and trust me if he violates that he will go to jail and they dont like child abusers in jail .and if u r to scared to do that than wait until u hav enough courage to kick his A$$ ur self.

Child protective services should be called if you dont have at least one parent or relative that can protect you, dear, and it doesnt sound as if you do? Try contacting a relative if possible or a teacher/counselor at school. Please tell an adult. You shouldnt have to carry this on your shoulders. Things may escalate at first, that's normal, ok? but if youre brave enough to try to put and end to and halt the abuse, I say go for it. Prayers with you.

You need to tell someone immediately. If this abusive behavior continues it will only get worse. Now if your talking about a simple smack upside the head for being lippy that's one thing. If you are speaking of you or your brother getting a beating that's another. Tell a teacher, cop, preacher, or any trusted adult. Or get yourself a baseball bat and kneecap the abusive SOB.

You already know the answer. You HAVE to tell... If you have any shred of self-preservation left, get the authorities in on it before it costs you your life, or that of someone else in your family. The fear of pain is strong, but the fear of death HAS to be stronger.

You NEED to tell someone! If life at home is so bad, why do you want to be there? You need to be in a safe place with people who care about. Think about it.
