Yeppers, same thing after a play or other event that you only get to a few times a year. You get entertained, have fun, relax and can escape. Suddenly, bam! It's back to the reality of our lives, our problems, issues and our job. Hate that feeling. It's like when you get back from a great vacation. You are all relaxed and happy and then "life" begins again.

Yes this is not an uncommon occurance. Effectively what happens is that during the concert you are enjoying it so much you have many pleasure producing chemicals released in your brain, this are called endorphins.

The day after the concert you are probably no longer exposed to all the excitement and don't have as many endorphins floating around in your brain and you suffer from a type of withdrawal symptom.

We often expect more of things we wait for:

Christmas
Birthday
New car
New house
New mate

As long as you are truly grateful for what you DO have now, then the extras are blissful. If you aren't terribly grateful for what you have in your life that IS good, then you will hunt for fulfillment elsewhere, and always be disappointed in these things you do find...

Of course, could be you just love the band SO much and got to sort of connect with them, and you just miss them.

I was in theater for years, and the cast parties at the close of the show were truly bittersweet events, for we'd become close-knit groups -- like a family -- and it was ending...

So - a freak? Nahhh... just a lover of art maybe...

I feel a little sad and depressed, too, after a show, but probably for different reasons. I always dreamed I would be on that stage, but my life took a different turn. Instead, I'm a husband and dad with bills to pay, so I had to give up those dreams. So when I see a good concert I always think "that could be me up there".

Yes indeed and for me it is when you watch one of those great movies. Transferred into a magical place, a place you wish we were. So sentimental we are, but when a play or movie makes you feel this way, then we know that was a great presentation for sure.... Totally Natural...

Yeah, it rather is because you have such an over powering adventure the day ahead of this, and then immediately wambam! you back to wide-spread life and it kinda sucks because of the fact all of us desire shall we re-stay those shows ect lower back and lower back, dont concern dude it's going to bypass, merely pump some music and don't think of roughly any undesirable crap and merely stay life, it could have been one depraved stay overall performance yet I assure you.. there one hundred greater to come lower back :)

Sure. It's like a one night stand. Great while it's there, but little substance or lasting appeal.
