The word wou are looking for is Renaissance. It was a period between the Medieval or Dark Ages and the Baroque.

It is called the Renaissance as it was a time of rebirth of the classical traditions of Ancient Greece and Rome.

There were a lot of people who made great changes during this period so I wouldn't like to express an opinion on just one. This would be over simplification and not do any study of this particular period justice. Have a look at the liks at this website and you can decide the people you wish to use in your homework.

Look also at the Florentine Guilds. They were very important. The changes the social status of artists, and became patrons of the arts. During medieval times the church were the biggest patrons of the arts but during the Renaissance the guilds and the wealthy merchant classes became patrons also.

Of the boy names, I think Blake is the best. William's second. Tidus is third. Lucian is last, because for most people I know it reminds them of Lucius Malfoy, from Harry Potter. For the girl names, I like Amaya the best. The meaning is really lovely. Next is Eve; Serafina; Narcissa; Bella; Evangeline; and Anastasia. I think Eve should stay Eve. Evangelista is kinda long. Bella is nice as a nickname for Isabella. For those that might go together well for nicknames: Blake William Lucian Tidus Eve Amaya Narcissa Eve Bella Serafina
