I unquestionably have owned a CAI and a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust for 3 years on my Mazda3. those 2 advancements paintings hand in hand. As I understand the earnings of a CAI, a 4 cylinder has height horsepower and torque beginning at 5,000 rpm. interior the better rev limits the automobile can inhale or breath in deeper. that is as though the automobile is given greater advantageous lung skill interior the better rev selection. Supposedly the gas air mixture is improved quite with a automobile that has variable valve timing which improves the opportunities of gas burning greater effectively for the objective of effectual skill. The cat back exhaust facilitates a greater valuable launch of exhaust in a miles less constrained way from the inventory set up. So, the two advancements enable the automobile to inhale and exhale much less demanding. those additions greater valuable come into play with lighter rims, which lessens unsprung weight of the wheels rotating to circulate the automobile forward. So all of those incremental modifications paintings mutually and provides as much as reducing the skill intake or the paintings that the motor vehicle ought to do to stand as much as velocity and stay at velocity for a distance run, not unavoidably a nil-60 mph sprint. in case you upload a guy made oil, the lubrication of the motor reduces inner friction offering returned, sizeable incremental valuable properties which may be noted as an prepared loose revving motor vehicle that takes on a various character on the line, an ideas-set. Get a degreaser or "merely eco-friendly" and spray it on the radiator coils, save them sparkling and the automobile will run cooler. i might say that the internet earnings with those few concepts ought to be 8-15 horsepower boost. the dazzling thing approximately this attitude is that that's easy and right this moment forward, no tinkering with a eu, NOS ultimate this moment clearly aspirated overall performance that reinforces what's already baked into the automobile's overall performance. Cheers.

K&N offers a good product but under intense heat and maximum air flow AEM offers 120% flow as K&N only offers 105-110 for the b18 and b16 motors. my opinion, AEM V2. hands down. another bonus is aem uses a harder composition aluminum that is thinner so it cools faster and offers immediate and longer lasting cooler air.
ive allways looked to AEM first and ive never been anything but pleased.

K&N is a better brand in my opinion. You may spend more but it's worth it. Either way, you need to actually look at them and see which one has less severe bends. That's one of the biggest reasons for getting a CAI or short ram. The less restrictive the piping, the more air, the more HP.

K&N is a better tested brand as far as R&D goes. I'm not real sure though, I don't play with the little toy cars.
