Heck no. The gasoline efficiency of an engine depends on many different factors, including the type of transmission it is paired up with. My 90 Camaro get's me approx 26/mpg while a V8 of the same size on a truck may get you less. Gas mileage depends on V8 engine size, air fuel ratio, vehicle weight, and transmission (gear ratios), and differentials. It is best to check the vehicle specs to find out what mpg average you should expect from the V8 in a car.

Nope, depends on the size of each cylinder and the RPM that the engine will typically run at. Just an example, not of 8 cyl. but two very similar engines. I had a 2.0L 4-cyl that was able to get 30 mpg. I upgraded to a different car with a turbocharged 2.0L 4-cyl that only gets 23 mpg. A lot of it depends on the aerodynamics of the vehicle, displacement of the engine, power adders (turbo, supercharger, etc.), compression, and the type of gas used.

The same horsepower and displacement 8 cylinder will take about the same fuel, no matter who makes it.
But the vehicle its in makes a huge difference. The same v8 in a sleek luxury car will be different from the one in an SUV.
Driveline effieciency , vehicle weight and cornering ability and aerodynamics come into play. Cornering could affect your city economy, because you may have to brake or not brake more often in a less nimble vehicle.

If I were you i might want to purchase myself a voltage meter and position this is putting for 20 volt , position the adverse on the adverse batter submit and the valuable on the pos battery submit and see what the present is.it will be over 12 volts, then try an same try with the automobile operating and see if the present is above or round a minimum of 13.7 volts. the priority might want to nicely be so easy as rusty or corroded battery , starter , alternator, engine block posts that prefer to be wiped clean. even as is the perfect time the gas clear out develop into replaced bec it would get replaced once a three hundred and sixty 5 days.make positive that each and every of the belts are sturdy and under no circumstances loose rather the alternator belt. The spark-plugs might want to prefer to be wiped clean and re-gapped and wires might want to require their contacts to be wiped clean or wires replaced and ignition coil might want to prefer to be wiped clean.also the diverse plug in contacts or sensors plug in connections might want to nicely be getting moister in them or require cleansing , plus the ignition coil spark plug connections might want to nicely be permitting moister in and favor some anti moister jell to be utilized or they could nicely be corroded and so on. The cruise administration difficulty might want to of been moister or a nasty floor connection going to the cruise administration gadget or the comp. desire that facilitates and best of success.by employing the way i wouldn't hardship too a lot about the minor shaking yet i might want to for positive examine and double examine the alternators output voltages and charging gadget connections , plus substitute the gas clear out and understand that in severe temperatures and bec of moister and so on some automobiles will act up slightly and this isn't any vast deal yet again issues might want to nicely be wiped clean and checked on it.
