If there was a nuclear war you and everyone you know as well as the rest of the world would be dead. If you are out of the blast rings and do survive anything you can find in the ensuing nuclear winter you will eat and as time goes by anything that you can gag down you will eat.The radiation poisoning will eventually kill you appetite before it kills you but, yeah, you will eat anything that you will find before you die.

Anyone who could possibly survive a nuclear war would probably find it safe to eat all that processed meat they sell at the 7-11 counter...i'm certain that those lovely meat sticks will still be around once everything else has turned to radioactive dust.

go and look up the hurricane survival kit. it should be the same. They ask us to minimally have 3 days for food and water, because we may not have any power or water. So use that as your guide.

Twinkies. Ever see what happens when you set one out (without wrapper)? Nothing. There is so much preservative in it that nothing can touch it. I'm sure that not even an apocolypse could affect it.
