You should always wear something that would suit the job you're going for. If you're going for an office job, then you probably shouldn't wear ripped jeans n tight or baggy shirts. You should wear office wear pants, a collared shirt and a suit jacket on top so that you look professional because if you're hoping for a second interview you want to leave a good impression on the interviewer.

Men and Women
Conservative two-piece business suit (solid dark blue or grey is best)
Conservative long-sleeved shirt/blouse (white is best, pastel is next best)
Clean, polished conservative shoes
Well-groomed hairstyle
Clean, trimmed fingernails
Minimal cologne or perfume
Empty pockets--no bulges or tinkling coins
No gum, candy or cigarettes
Light briefcase or portfolio case
No visible body piercing (nose rings, eyebrow rings, etc.)
Men
Necktie should be silk with a conservative pattern
Dark shoes (black lace-ups are best)
Dark socks (black is best)
Get a haircut; short hair always fares best in interviews
No beards (unless you are interviewing for a job as a lumberjack!)
Mustaches are a possible negative, but if you must, make sure it is neat and trimmed
No rings other than wedding ring or college ring
No earrings (if you normally wear one, take it out)
Women
Always wear a suit with a jacket; no dresses
Shoes with conservative heels
Conservative hosiery at or near skin color (and no runs!)
No purses, small or large; carry a briefcase instead
If you wear nail polish (not required), use clear or a conservative color
Minimal use of makeup (it should not be too noticeable)
No more than one ring on each hand
One set of earrings only

Personally, I think white and black are the most professional-looking colors.
I would wear some nice black pants (not too tight), or a black skirt (probably knee-length). As for shoes, I'd say black heels. But not too tall of heels, or you may look like a stripper! I think a black blazer (women's fit) would be cool, with a white blouse underneath. Or maybe a nice sweater (depending on where you live).
As long as it is ironed nicely, clean, and professional-looking, I think you're OK! I also think it is a good idea to wear your hair back so the interviewer can see your face (more personable), and most of all...remember to SMILE!! That's the best thing you can wear! Nobody likes to work with a grump!
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Something well fitting, pressed and clean. Navy blue is a great color to wear. Dress professional but don't over do it. I have seen more women come in for interviews with lots of jewelry, perfume, super long nails and loud nail color. Leave these things at home.
Good Luck!!!

the key is to exude confidence without cockiness, poise without snobbery and relaxed without being too casual.for ladies,i'd suggest plain trousers and a nice light coloured blouse depending on ur colouring.nice comfy shoes and simple accessories and makeup.dont overdo it.for guys, the business suit components without the jacket.nice hair cut.and most of all, a smile.
