I turned 21, 19 days ago. I've been loosing hair since 18. Its kinda noticable now. I've tried everything and nothing has worked. And some pills have horrible side effects. Im too young for this, if it was 25 and higher then okay, but 18? Im obsessive, I keep looking in the mirror and more keeps falling. Before you answer THINK that your loosing your hair at 18, remember this is when you meet lotsa of girls up to whenever. And this is time when 100% of your guy friends have their hair. They might lose it later but at this age its VERY RARE. You may think whatever, Im a very strong guy, but when I see I a guy my age completely not worried about his hair it kills me, BAD, its a bad tease when I see my older uncle with very nice hair and Im 3 years younger then him and losing my hair.

You should go to the doctor and get medical conditions ruled out.
That isn't normal, especially since you're saying that no one else in your family has it. This kind of hair loss usually runs in families.
It could be caused by a simple skin condition on your head that you don't know is there. OR it could be falling out from things like mites (I don't mean nits/ head lice) believe it or not.
Also as much as you're hoping they work , you need to stop taking potions and pills.
If anything, just stick to special shampoos which don't get into your system.
What's very imporant is to make sure you're massaging your head often (daily) to increase blood flow and make the tissue there healthy so as to promote hair growth.

Well, maybe talk to your doctor. But it's probably in your hereditary makeup. You're probably tired of hearing people say that some girls find this sexy. Pray for acceptance and spend your energy on things that interest you and developing the gifts you've been blessed with.
I know it's easy for me to say, especially since you're only 18, but quit letting this bald thing rent so much space in your head. I've had a receeding hair line ever since I was twelve and it had no impact on how girls viewed me. But if you let this bald thing rule your life or come off as trying to be something that you're not, they'll pick up on that fast. You're O.K. dude.

I know a guy who lost his hair at your age too. By 25 he was almost all bald. They say it is too much testosterone.. Maybe you need a hormone therapy to help it... It is genetic too. I don't know if any thing can really be done. The guy I know he just shaves all his hair off and has embraced the bald look. Some girls like that bald look and think its sexy. He also made up for it by working out and getting lots of muscles and tanning. I don't recommend that, but that's what a lot of guys in that situation do.

I was also 18 when I started losing my hair. It runs in my family. All of the men start between 15 and 25. Hopefully it will make you mature at an earlier age. It will teach you to accept who you are, (not only to yourself but to others as well), as a person and not what you appear to be.

There is no discrimination in girl's eyes between a hairy guy and a bald one.
And you'd better not be with a girl who will be judging you on your baldness.
Just dont think about it, or you'll waste your life.
Plus : Micro-surgery can make very successful hair implants, if this will make your image correct to your own self.
And... did you notice that all rare haired stars, are wearing baldness very highly ?
You're a good man, you'll make it through I am sure.

Unfortunately, my brother lost most of his hair by 19. He was left with a "fringe" around the back of his head. He tried "trailers" across the top, but was sick of them very shortly.
If it is any consolation, he was married with children by 25,
Try not to let any silly comments upset you.

don't try and fight it, just keep it short. Don't try to compensate by combing it over or something.
