Does anyone know if there is any relation between thyroid problems (specifically hyopthyriodism) and allergies?

I have a runny and itchy nose. I seem to cough up clumps of mucos with my salvia. (Sorry if that was gross.) I have itchy and swelling eyes. I also seem to have some problem with my ears...It always sounds like there is an echo or something and I can't seem to hear out of them very well (especially the left one).

Nothing that I've tried has worked effectively - nasal sprays, pills, shots.

Hypothyroidism doesn't cause allergies, but it can make allergy symptoms worse. I used to have to take an antihistamine daily, but once I was diagnosed Hypothyroid and put on thyroid meds, they improved drastically. I don't even need to take the antihistamine every day anymore.

there is absolutely no relation, i.e. hypothyroidism dont make you more allergic BUT it can make you more sensitive to some drugs like digoxin i.e. you will need smaller dose than if you were in normal thyroid status.

no, if you have any specific condition or symptoms, i could try to explain otherwise allergies to environmental factors have no relation to hypothyroidism
