Do you wear corrective lenses? Could be caused by eye strain but the most common cause is the nerve just goes a little loopy and twitches for no apparent reason, sort of like a misfire. Nothing to really worry about but it is agrivating isn't it?

Cut down on caffeine, and take some magnesium. That always does it for me.

If it just does it once in awhile, it means that you are tired. If it is doing it excessively and is bothersome, then I don't know what it means.
