It would be difficult to diagnose your symptoms without proper testing. You need to go see your doc. ASAP.
Depending on your age but your symptoms are classic Heart Problems but I would be just guessing.

If your diabetic or over-weight, it could be that your blood is not circulating to those areas. It could also be water retention, do you drink a lot of water? If you don't try drinking at least 80 ounces of water a day for awhile. If the swelling gets worse or starts looking red/purple, contact your doctor. The arm pain may not be correlated with the ankles, but if the pain increased, still contact your doctor.

There are many factors for both.

If you have swollen ankles, it may be due to too much sodium and you may be bloated.

If your arm hurts, it could have been from constant typing, sleeping on it, etc.

Swollen joints are an indication of an infection in the body.

Heart attacks cause pain,heart trouble causes fluid
retention.Got to your doctor or emergency to have your self checked out to rule out heart attack and get the fluid under control.I know wait times in emergency's are long but with chest pain you will get whipped in there so fast your head will spin.

# 2 is it the joint painful or edema in the skin & underlying tissues?
