Yes, I have been in 2 bad accidents! I remember both! Everything in slow motion.I remember the jaws of life cutting the car apart to get me out and the trip to the hospital it was close so no helicopter. The other one was a long time ago and it took a while for help to get there . They took us first to one hospital and they said they were not equipped to care for us so we were loaded back into the ambulance and taken 40 miles to a bigger hospital! I spent a total of 6-7 weeks between the 2 accidents. I hate hospitals!

I don't remember the accident itself. I may remember immediately before the accident but it could be a separate incident several minutes before that I remember. I remember a car in front of me slowing down suddenly and swerving but the report of the accident sounds more like I fell asleep at the wheel so I might have remembered something that happened earlier or maybe it was a false memory.
The first thing I remember after the accident was being moved onto the helicopter. I regained consciousness the next day and went home the day after that. I found out I had a skull fracture 2 days after I got home. I still have problems with my mental function and back and neck pain and I have hearing loss and tinnitus in one ear. To me it was a serious accident but no one was killed and I have returned to a "normal" life.

Yes, I have had a bad car accident. My car was going 65 and it hit a semi truck in the side, my car was totaled and the truck, carrying tar, spilled its load onto someone's front lawn. I was flown to a hospital b/c I had been knocked out. I got 10 stitches, a concusion, and a broken bone in my foot. I only remember little bits of the accident and parts of my flight.

Yes, I survived because of the miracles of modern medicine. I only remember bits and pieces of the accident, the surgeries and the weeks in the hospital. It totally changed my life. I found that things are not as important as my relationship with the people around me.

Yes, I was with my family and we were stopped at a railroad crossing and this drunk from behind slammed into our car and we got pushed onto the tracks. We couldn't get off after several tries, but finally before the train hit us we got off the tracks. The drunk who hit us drove off like nothing had happened. We never did find that jerk. But, by the grace of God, we got off the tracks that night and God had his angels watching over us. :)
