We are really thinking of doing this. Have any of you done it? What was your experience like?

If you think we're crazy, please tell me why.

Thanks.

No, you are in no way crazy for wanting to take a trip of a life time. Get out and enjoy the country. You will meet many different people and be able to see places that most people only read about or see on TV from their couches! I don't remember the site but there is one that chronicles the lives of people who do this. It isn't just RV but by boat and other modes of transportation.

I wish you the best. Write about it when you come back so others can enjoy your adventure.

No, I dont think so. My parents want to do it. They have talked to other people who have done it. My dad said that the other people that they have talked to, it's either you like it or you hate it. Most of the things people say is that it's hard to keep the rv clean (because it's such a small place) and it's hard to do your laundry in a laundrymat where there is not much privacy.

Heck no! Go for it! That would be awesome to do! One thing, kids. If there are little ones involved, then the schooling thing comes into play. Friends of my parents did this & I guess they enjoyed it tremendously! Have fun, be safe!

I did it for seven years. It was THE great adventure. I traveled with my dog. I stopped at coffeehouses, read my poetry and sold my books. It was magic!

I'd do it if I had the money. Can I film your adventure if you do decide to do it? Like make a documentury of you journey?
