I'm gonna have to go with Whitney here. Her voice is just so amazingly powerful. Listen to her stuff from "Whitney Houston" up through "The Bodyguard" and you can't help but be impressed. Mariah Carey definitely has a greater range with her voice, but Whitney's is richer and fuller and the way she uses it blows me away. I will say that I have always been wowed by Christina Aguilera (who would guess that a voice that big would come out of her) but she won't be able to top what Whitney was able to do before she lost her mind. And while Beyonce can perform like nobody's business, her voice is just average.

Mariah Carey. I think Aguilera and Beyonce aren't even remotley close to her talent. And I think Mariah is better than Whitney in her prime. Who knows what kind of voice Whitney has at this point.
I am not a fan of this R&B light, thats what I call it. But Mariah Carey is an exceptional talent. Her Mother, from what I have heard was a singer and voice teacher, so she was actually professionaly trained from a young age. And you can really tell when you listen to her. Aguilera is ok, but has a weak voice.
Mariah is so good the Opera people can respect her.

Mariah Carey has the greatest voice. And William Hung has the worst. But he is funny.
By the way tell you some jokes:

Eh, Whitney Houston but she's ruined her body and life so it doesn't even matter.
I wish you asked for the best male voice, hands down that would be JOSH GROBAN. At the 2005 Oscars he did a duet with Beyonce and blew her out of the water even though he was politely holding back.
