I don't mean in school...i mean in some situation in life.

For example, I got preggers in my 20s and wasn't sure what to do. (I was unmarried)

The choice was adoption or raising this child myself.

I chose the latter, and what a ride it has been!

THAT situation tested me more then any others, but I got thru it,

What about you?

Let me see. In 2004, my wife went totally nuts. I tried very hard to get her help, but when she kept fighting me about going to see another doctor, I couldn't decide what to do. It just so happened that when she got into one of her better periods, she wanted to go home to her Mom in Peru and I said sure. It was not the best decision in the world, but it did work out. I guess in her state she thought that going home to her family would put her mind at ease. I did not want to give the problem to my mother-in-law, but I was at my wits end. I was tired and confused by every bit of advise that was coming my way. The good news is that she is better, so I guess the decision worked in the end. I was very tested on that. Our marriage is stronger and my relationship with my mother-in-law still wonderful. I have not thank her enough for getting her daughter back to "normal." I guess sometimes you need a mother's touch. It turns out my wife is bi-polar. She will be on medication for the rest her life, but I have that covered.

a little over a year ago me and my gf broke up, we dated for close to 3yrs. she had 3 kids and it seemed like she didn't care about them. the only 2 forms of communication yelling or not at all. when she moved in with me the oldest boy stayed with his grandparents to finish the school year. the 2 youngest 8yr old boy and 9yr old girl. i instently fell in love with the kids. everything was great then about 8 months later the oldest one moved in. the household started falling apart. i got to noticing the oldest was very mean to the youngest when we wasn't around. then i discovered the oldest was molesting the daughter. i began to understand why the daughter never wanted to leave my side. she looked to me for protection and i didn't realize it. he was taken and put in a home and keep under close watch. the kids started theropy and i found out when they were staying at my gfs parents house the daughter and mom shared a room. she was bringing men home and having sex with them in front of her. me and the two youngest became extremely close after all this. one day picking the kids up from school me and the daughter was waiting for her brother she made a strange comment.i carefully started questioning her and found out my gfs exhusband was molesting her. my heart cried for this poor little girl, i was so mad. then they didn't do anything to him, i wanted to kill him. i even planned it out in my head, but i knew if i did and got caught she wouldn't have anyone there to protect her. i let her counselers know what was going on. she packed up and moved i wanted to get those kids from her so bad. i think about them everyday and worry about her. this is by far the short version of my story.
you know this is the first time i talked about this.
