I don't state anything against Ann Coulter because I don't agree with the woman, so I do not listen to or read any of her stuff.
I do happen to enjoy Al Franken. Yes - he says some things that are "mean spirited", but nothing that is any worse than the stuff Conservative writers/authorities (or whatever you wish to call them) state. I listen and read what the more conservative bunch on here state about liberals - if that is not mean-spirited, then I am Heidi Klumm. . . And I'm NOT.

Arvis3 you are absolutly correct!! And for the record Al Franken did not get fired from his job. After reading some of the responses to this question, it is clear why our country is in such trouble!! We have people judging others without even knowing what they are talking about at all. Clearly some of you would know more if you would at least listen to "the other side". Don't go through life with blinders on....it's way to boring. At least have the courage to listen to ALL sides before making a judement.

Al Franken actually thinks stuff through and has an opinion on things, which he exposes. Ann Coulter is only capable of regurgitating propaganda and insult people. She frequently completely ignores facts, of which she has a very poor grasp, and is an embarrassment to dumb blondes everywhere.

I think coulter is a little more crass than Franken... and he can be crass, granted, but he's not quite on the same level from what I have seen...
both use a ton of facts though, so I give them both credit for that...

Al Franken is quite intelligent but the evilness of the Republicans are so great, he's become less funny. Sometimes he can hardly speak and it's understandable. No one expected things to get this bad.

Franken is not like Ann Coulter. You have clearly never listened to his radio show.
He is ultra liberal and I don't agree with everything he says, but I have never heard him resort to the childish name calling we usually get from Coulter.
Now there are others on Air America radio that are like her. Mike Malloy for example, He is a name caller and I don't have any more respect for him than I do for Ann Coulter.

Not even close. Coulter makes fun of people who's loved ones died on 9/11. Franken makes fun of America destroying, hypocrite conservatives who make fun of people themselves (O'Reilly, Limbaugh).
