All that sounds awful. You better think about getting medical attention. I would say you definitely do have an anxiety problem but it could be worse than that . . . mental disorders are terrible.

Doesn't sound like anxiety to me. It could be stress or tension. That will cause your body to twitch and it will be especially weird and uncomfortable when you go to bed because you're trying to relax which is odd compared to how you would be during the day if you are under a lot of stress. The anxiety of expecting these things won't be helping matters but I definitely wouldn't call it an "anxiety problem" as in the disorder.
You almost don't experience any of the symptoms.

Get your ears checked out next time you're at the docs. Add more info to your question if you're still thinking it's an anxiety problem.

I think I have tonic seizures too. I am a waitress, and one time I just remember carrying out a tray of food, and next thing I remember I open my eyes and I am laying on my back on the floor, and the manager is standing next to me. Other times I'll be thinking about something, and boom out of a sudden I forget what I am thinking about. What do you mean by when you wake up your body feels weird? Sometimes when I am in bed, its like where I am in a state where my mind is awake, (because I am thinking about something) but my body is asleep. And I'll start hearing what sounds like a chainsaw, and it gets louder and louder. I can't move my body its like I'm paralyzed. I get this allot... Have you ever experienced this? How is this type of seizure diagnosed? I have had a balance test by the way and that came back normal. Sometimes I also see quick flashes of light, or other times it looks like glitter is falling around me. Other times, I'll be on the computer or watching TV and its like the screen is moving back and forth. Any of these symptoms ever happen to you? I would really like to talk to you. My first feelings like that were about 20 years ago. What is this? Then I had them for about 8-10 more yrs. they got worse. When mine first started out light feelings like your sayings. Like you say ( weird thoughts ) mine were like an all of a sudden scary feeling what is this? whats happening ? then they got worse. I would hear words in different sentences. there called ( aura feelings) I'd get this same feeling over and over again. the same thing. Then when its over the words are forgotten. Then people would say around me that did you know that you were staring for a minute And I tried to get your attention ? Then they got into seizures. They gotten worse. If I were you I'd get help. When you say you jump. is that while your standing still? or in bed? thats a tonic seizure. if its mild. Then its mild tonic seizure. Today I have complex partial seizures. Its nasty to have. there hard to control. they come out of the blue for no reason. Well hang in there.

You definitely have an anxiety problem. Anxiety symptoms can occur when a person has an Anxiety Disorder or any one of a number of psychiatric problems (all of which can be effectively treated). The problem is that the SYMPTOMS of anxiety can be caused not by JUST psychiatric problems. A person can be mentally quite healthy, but may have any one of a couple of dozen PHYSICAL problems. See your medical doctor to check on these.

It could be a symptom of bi-polar disorder (does your mind race?)or a drug interaction (are you currently taking any medications?) but honestly I don't know.

See a doctor ASAP. I sincerely hope you feel better soon.
