It means that it is up to 5 times faster than the previous version of the Mac Book... Those new Intel Core Duo processors ROCK!!! We have 75 brand new ones at the school where I do Tech support, and I'm telling you, compared to my Powerbook G4, they are a LOT faster, and my book is no slouch. They're gonna send all other laptops to /dev/null
