I have visited Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and been through, but not visited Tennessee and Florida. I do not consider West Virginia a Southern state. Next year I will going back to South Carolina. I like Kentucky the best.

I have been to all of them with the exception of Louisiana and I like them all. My favorites were Texas, South Carolina, Arkansas, Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia. The south is beautiful, the people are nice, and the weather is great.

I've lived in Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, Florida, and North Carolina. Texas is okay - some of the friendliest cities. I can't stand Louisiana. Georgia is beautiful. Florida has nice weather. North Carolina is okay :)

I've lived in FL, AL,& LA. Florida was my favorite. I still live in LA and have for most of my life. It has nothing to offer. Not as pretty as the other southern states. Economy is bad-no good jobs. Alabama has a beautiful coastline. Tennesse is a pretty state. People are friendly in the south. I visited MO last month and the people couldn't care less if you were alive or not. I'm used to friendly people of the south. They wave, talk at the checkout lines just like we've known eachother forever.I did like living in Florida also. If you like the beach, wind blowing all the time etc.. then you would love it.

I've lived all over the country and I've been in South Carolina a total of ten years (not consecutively). I love it here so much I've moved back TWICE.
I've also lived in NC and GA.
I'm situated so that I'm only 4 hours from Atlanta, an hour from the ocean, 2 hours from Charlotte and 2 hours from the mountains. The people here are friendly and the weather is perfect. My only complaint is the blue laws are silly and God forbid but we have the slowest fast food drive throughs in the whole country.

Texas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida
I think I like Kentucky because of the beautiful green gently rolling hills and Georgia as well.

I lived in North Carolina for two years. There wasn't much to do outhere; I didn't like it.
I went to Athens,GA for a week. It was alright.
Never been to Florida, but I think it's a state that I would like if I were ever to visit.

My mom lives in Texas, so I've been there. It's way too hot and I don't like the heat. My husband's sister and family live in Tennessee. The area she lives in is very pretty, but I don't like the south.
