Why are people so crazy about.............?

celebrities!?! I mean, movies okay, they are like a source of entertainment,....and you can like the way some1 acts or smthin, but going to the extent of their personal lives,....their babies.....so on and so forth.....why? They r also, normal human beings, even they wud have a normal life, if it weren't for all the hype in whatever they do.....Is all that hoo-haa so necessary?Isn't there better stuff to do?

Well you're almost right. They're NOT normal human beings. Other wise we wouldnt give a s**t about them.

I guess people care so much about them because sometimes we wonder what it would be like to be them. To have the money and to be seated the moment you arrive at a restaurant , or to say i want that and just go buy it. It's like day dreaming only it's an acutal person's life.

It's just an escape for some people. I believe celebrities have a right to privacy but they put themselves out there when they want people to see their movies or buy their records. Once they get paid they cry about having no privacy?

besides they all know the world is watching so why do they do stupid stuff? Do you think a normal person can break the law and never go to jail??

Dont feel bad for celebrities they get away with a lot more than you or i could, even murder!

I think being star struck is a contagious disease.
The press or media shoves it down our throats whether we like it or not.
Once some people, get the idea that they will be left out in the dark, while EVERYBODY else is up to date on ALL the gossip about a certain celebrity, they feel they must keep up, by knowing everything that is going on with a particular celeb.

Personally, I don't think there are THAT many people who would give most celebrities a second thought, if it wasn't for all the media hype pressuring us to keep up with the gossip.

It's dumb.

Celebrities are just like people you already know in the family or friends. You've been around them alot and anything u hear about them is more interesting than if it happened to strangers u wouldn't care about. Don't tell me it didn't catch your attention when u found out someone was gay, for example, but if u ran across someone u never knew and heard he was gay, it wouldn't mean shti. Something u didn't expect because you had a different impression stands out. Celebrities give us impressions in movies or shows, so we know them a certain way. That's why they're not just like ordinary people. They're like everyone else we're obsessed with.

I could not agree more. I think that people just get wrapped up in the idea of being famous and living the celebrity life. I think that there own personal life is really boring and it is some kind of escape for them to be consumed by someone else. I think it is totally crazy myself. I think people waste a lot of good energy on stupid **** like that.

People in general are fascinating. Some take it too far however and try to live like the celebs they idolize. On the same note, some celebs get nutty and it's funny as hell to see what dumb stuff they come up with next. Some will do anything to stay in the limelight like Michael Jackson, Tom Cruise, and Whitney Houston.

Yeah... OK... I agree with you, but at the same time i think people have to know more about celebrities. and you know celebrities don't give much information bout them, that's why paparazzi is doing that dirty stuff. Finally, that's the price that celebrities should pay for their popularity.

I agreed with everything uve just said> GOOD answer. People are fascinated with celebs cause celebs are glamarous and like exotic and larger than life. Theyre not ur everday average ordinary working pesron with a regualar job. They make more money in one-day than regular people make in a whole year and in their life-time. PEOPLE ARE STAR_STRUCK by celebs. THey see them as glamarous exotic larger than life movie stars and whatnot.

i am crazy about royals from europe because they are not just humans, their ancestors were chosen by god to rule the countries they rule, and they are wayyyyyyyyyyyyy more rich than any celebs, all of them are billonaries, although no one really knows how much queen elizabeth II is worth, but she still places in the billonaire list, ,their weddings are not just $1 or $2million, their weddings cost like $ 20-$60 million, their sercurity is the best,anyways, and they are true blue-bloods and they are famous and are important before they are born and when they are born,they have gun salutes, their faces on their country's currency, money like you would not believe, their own castles , we're talking about 10000 room castles and palaces, they have their own yachts and private jets, they get gifts from presidents and dignitaries all over the world, like when prince william was born, the president of the U.S. sent his family gifts from the U.S. and queen elizabeth II got a gift from the brazilian president , it was a green diamond necklace , worth about more money than any necklace on record,and queen elizabeth II owns the most expensive jewlery in the world, and a prince from saudi arabia owns the largest yacht, and royals inherit islands too, like charlotte of monaco, who inherited an island when she was 5 years of age,they also get in prestigious magazines like peolpe mag. annual list of most beautiful ,andrea casiraghi of monaco was named people 's most beautful several times , charlotte of monaco was named best dressed internationally , and queen rania of jordon was named hall of fame best drssed on vanity fair, also prince william beat out jude law as sexiest man in england and madeliene of sweden was named the most beautiful sweden, i can go on and on.......
