That image is from the Revolutionary War & the correct spelling of the instrument if "fife". Since it's just a picture, I would have said they were playing Yankee Doodle, but it could have been the Ballad of Saratoga or Johnnys' Gone for a Soldier or the Liberty Song.

Wow, over the years the list has become quite extensive.

Lots of jazz pieces come to mind, instrumentals as well as songs. (Diana Krall, Will Downing, etc.)
Some R&B (Brian Mcknight, Boys to Men, Lauryn Hill, Smokey Robinson, Temptations, etc.)
Some rock ( INXS, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Coldplay, etc)
Some country (Randy Travis, Faith Hill, Tim Mcgraw, Dolly Parton, etc.)

Can't name just one. Depends on the guy, the time and the atmosphere.
