Just stand up to them, most liberals are spineless anyways. You notice it was hanging up on you, and not in person when your liberal friend got mad at you. Can never take on a face to face fight. Let it be, if they are going to hang up on you and be nasty towards you like that, you are better off, just shows how unaccepting he and well most liberals for that fact really are. They are two sided and will do anything for anyone unless it prevents them from getting back into power.
Next time you talk to this liberal, ask him what he thinks about the 5 attacks against America during Clinton's Presidency. Feb. 1993 suicide bombing on WTC, US Embassies in Kenya and Tarzania, Khobar Towers, and USS Cole. And nothing was done about those attacks, and when the second attempt of taking down the WTC Towers happened and they did fall, we finally fought back. UNDER A REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT! WHO ISNT'T AFRAID TO FIGHT BACK! WHO WONT COWER IN FEAR OF OUR ENEMIES! WHO WON'T DENY THE EXISTENCE OF TERRORISTS. HOW THEY COME AND BOAST AND BRAG ENTERING AMERICA ILLEGALLY THROUGH MEXICAN BORDER! PLOTTING TO DESTROY AMERICA!
Make sure you yell and show your pride, like he showed his limpwristed pride by hanging up on you, not even face to face! Thinking he is better because they won't fight back against our enemies, because they can talk peace to them. Terrorists won't care, American is a American and one getting beheaded is one less American. You have no need to be sorry for your values and views, and wanting to fight our enemy! And for him putting you down like that just goes to show how "peaceful and loving" liberals really are!

Have you read the questions/"bashes" from the conservatives against liberals? And the Republicans statements against the Democrats?
That is a two way street. I think the more "shallow" get all testy and attack someone personally because of a view point. I have friends (and my boss is) that are Republican. I am Democrat, and have been for quite a while. It is an opinion, and a way of supporting the issues and opinions that you feel are important. Nothing more. It is not a RELIGION; it is not a WAY OF LIFE; and it certainly is not worth dying for (though there are those that would disagree over that). It is just an opinion - one person's opinion is not a reason to personally attack another.
Well, unless they attack first. Then the gloves come off.

Your kidding appropriate? The democratic social gathering Communists? ya appropriate. the democrats are approximately one centimeter (on the line of liberal to conservative) to liberal. they're the two crap one ameliorations the plan slightly. And particular they might get walked over yet did not the Republicans? They nevertheless have not have been given out of Iraq. 9/11 what became that? wasn't that obtaining walked over? nevertheless they have not got here across the Taliban. Wow that' s some great chief he's been in a position to terrorize greater human beings, get his very own human beings killed, and upward push the priority point on his very own human beings in 2 words! You gotta provide him props. And wager what. Its worse if the democrats do get elected (greater valuable 4 the republicans) via fact then they are in a position to declare "hi we took down Sadam, they're those that have been given elected and could not end it." So can we get walked on greater? particular, the Republicans say via fact maximum the deaths have been in Iraq. If we hadn't attacked the deaths may be right here, now's not that undesirable? Its like what this guy reported "The republicans say government sucks, get voted into place of work and tutor it!" Now how ought to the democrats be worse not that i pick the to win. in my view i think of we pick a huge exchange. the economic training are attending to a strategies aside, and this valueless Presidents. we pick some exchange for the greater valuable heck i might even vote for a socialist at this element.

Well i agree with a lot of what you say and I recognize the hate goes both ways. You touched on the main problem of uniting people on the fight against terrorism. The problem is both sides have a different way of looking at how to fight it. It is very difficult to get people to agree on war strategy when there is no clear and distinct enemy. Neither side right now has a clear strategy it changes as the war changes but neither will admit it. I think the problems in Iraq have divided the nation but I don't blame that on politics I blame that on poor leadership and planning and in my personal belief is you should hold the people accountable for there actions regardless of intentions, lets get some people in there who can really take care of this and we should all be able to agree on that.

both sides are equally as bad. i see questions everyday from both sides that are just hateful and ignorant, i really dont like to associate with either party, but overall, its the republicans who are in power so they're the ones that are gonna get more ppl criticizing them.
but, i think the problem is that "the war on terror" has proven to be ineffective. things are only getting worse, and we're just getting deeper into debt. you cant really fight a war against an idea, its just not gonna work. bush has admitted that iraq had no ties to 9/11, and we've found that they didnt have an arsenal of wmd's like we thought originally, so why are we still there? there are other countries that hate us AND have weapons that we know of for sure, why have we never gone after them?
and meanwhile we're not any safer here than we've ever been. terrorism is the last resort of the weak, and there will always be some type of terror out there. its impossible to be totally safe. the fact is that we're not under any attack, 9/11 was something we could have prevented if we would have paid more attn to the signs that it was coming, but its not something that we're going to allow to happen again, and not because of the "war on terror". it has more to do with the cia and fbi doing their jobs and keeping our national security net functioning at peak performance.
the whole idea is flawed, and a lot of his own ppl have quit and told the world that we should have never done any of it. i think that too many ppl confuse the war in iraq with trying to find osama. but, sadly, they're not the same thing. we should be trying to find him, not losing our men in another country while trying to force democracy down their throats. it makes no sense. by definition, democracy is something you choose to make your own decisions, but we're forcing it on them. its just completely absurd.

Democrats aren't hateful and there are other parties that don't agree with Republicans. How do you know your friend was a Democrat, just because she disagrees with your politics or is it that she just didn't like your claim? The truth is, if she was hateful she probably would have said some choice hurtful things to you before she hung up on you.
I find that most are just sick of intolerant people who label themselves as conservative. These types use liberal language to prejudge others and consider those that disagree with them terrorist sympathizors when that is not the case.

You can somewhat blame your president for this, after 9/11 and when we went into Afghanistan he had an approval of over 80% then came Iraq, we were united. But when we found out the lies he told to war with Iraq he lost all credibility and not only divided the nation but the world. His ratings now are in the low 30's, he had the ball and dropped it. Even some major repuglicans are opposing him now. That makes people wary of all conservatives. I hope that helps you to understand.

you should really research the overview of what GWB has done for this country. if that doesn't turn you liberal, nothing will.
look at this:
http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2006/04/30/bush_challenges_hundreds_of_laws/
also this:
www.bushlies.net
Bush is not helping to stop the terrorists. it is made loud and clear. that is why we are not uniting against terrorists. he is creating more terrorists and haters to be honest. maybe if you were a little more informed you would agree.

It is a blanket statement. I've heard many republicans that are down right nasty, libertarians that are cruel and vicious...etc.
It's not the party, it's the people. Every group has the loudmouth that has to make a jerk out of him/herself which gives a bad rep to everyone.
I've heard Rush call many people nasty names....but I know many repbulicans that are really good people. I won't base my opinion of the entire party on one blowhard.
