Don't say that too loudly. Professors look for graduate students who work hard at everything they do, and ideally excel at everything they do.
I was a biochemistry professor for 30+ years at a large University in the Eastern US, and I hade 27 graduate students during that time and supervised about 80 undergraduate research projects. And we only chose the best. If I had an undergraduate student whom I felt was underachieving, or shirking his scholarly duties, I dropped him from my lab and he got an 'F'. It isn't tolerated in life, and I don't think it should be tolerated at any level.

Most halfway decent schools require a GRE score of at least 1000. However, if you want to get into a good/high ranking school, you should try to at least get a 1200.
Good luck! I am preparing for the GRE too

If you have a 1050 you can get in most anywhere if you have a decent GPA. However, I recommend a 1200 if your resume, grades, or both are lacking in the slightest.

It will very much depend on the particular program and particular university. You should look up the program(s) that is/are of interest to you and see if there is information about their usual admits.
