If you've had 9 miscarriages then there must be some sort of ongoing genetic problem which may need sorting out - I would advise you to see a doctor ASAP to dicuss this.
I would be wary of any health-food naturopath quacks telling you to "change your diet" because that amount of miscarriages is going to be down to something far more complicated than just "not eating enough fruit and veg!!!". If all women who didn't eat perfectly healthily were unable to carry children then the human race would die out!!!
There may be a genetic problem which needs sorting out, you may have a problem with your uterus,or the uterine lining, a thyroid problem, or you may have an immune problem which means your body rejects the embryos. There are ways to treat this, but you need to see a doctor (a proper one) to see about getting the tests done.

Firstly I am very sorry to hear about your miscarriages, it must be so terrible for you. My mum also had 2 miscarriages and 2 stillborns, no medical reason was ever found for either, she did end up with 3 healthy girls, so do not give up hope.
I have heard that if a women miscarries often they can put a stitch in her cervix, you could ask your Dr about this. The stitch is then removed when you are full term.
Generally there is never a reason for you to miscarry, but you could try regular vitamins, folic acid, no drinking, or smoking, before conception and after. Also try and rest as much as possible after you have fallen pregnant, and try not to stress too much.
I wish you all the luck in the world, god bless you and your partner, hopefully soon you'll be too busy running around after a baby to come on here!
Thoughts for you today.xx

I have had two miscarriages just this year both ending at 7 weeks along (one in August of '05 & one in May of '06). I requested to know why I was miscarrying & the doctor ran some test on me (took 22 vials of blood) & found that I developed a Thyroid problem after my first miscarriage & a mild mutation of my enzymes which can cause miscarriages if not treated.
Thyroid is being treated with Synthroid & the mutation of my enzymes is being treated with prenatals.
Talk to your doctor & see what he/she says.

I am very sorry about your miscarriages. I have had two. I finally went to a infertility doc. to see why I had lost two pregnancies. He did a lot of testing and found out that the reason I miscarry is because I have a blood clotting disorder when I get pregnant. So finally when I got pregnant again I had to take heparin (a blood thinner) along with baby aspirin to stop the blood from clotting to the placenta. Now I have a 19 month old son. Talk to your doc. about this it might be the reason your miscarrying. I hope you find out what is wrong. Take care of yourself!!!! Good luck!!!

Have you and your husband gone to talk to a genetic counselor, or had any kind of testing done? If not you need to talk to your doctor about what is causing the miscarriages. Also, if you are diabetic, you need to make sure your blood sugars are under excellant control for 3-6 months before getting pregnant,

Sarah, I know your peoblem is not getting pregnant but only preserving it. But remember to get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.
After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.
Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.
Miscarriages can be due to many reasons. You must remember that the child formation in a body is not like something that is happening in a machine. There is nothing being held together by bolts and nuts. There are no screws to be tightened. The whole thing is held together by your own muscles and other results of hormones and enzyme reactions.
Your physical activities contribute to this a lot. If you strain yourself. If you wear tight body wear. If you wear high heeled shoes - all have an affect on it.
Your mental condition also matters a lot. If you are depressed. If you get angry often etc affects the enzymes in your body.
The food also contributes - I know unriped pineapples affect pregnancy.
I know of a lady who spent the last 6 months in bed with knees up most of the day to avoid her 3rd miscarriage - and she succeeded.
Good Luck

There is a medical condition called Hughes syndrome ( as well as other autoimmune conditions) that causes recurrent miscarriage. It can be simply and effrectively treated with a small dose of aspirin a day allowing you to procced to term successfully. See your doctor!

First stop trying to get pregnant and just enjoy your partner. Just have fun and let the act be pleasurable. Second check your diet. B and C vitamins are extremely important. [Of course no drinking, smoking, drugs....] Third what kind of work are you doing. If you have a strenuous or stressful job you may need to switch that first.

Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/hJ7fC
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.

my sister in law had that problem. have you had your progesterone level checked? if this level is too low, it triggers the body to have a period b/c it does not believe there is a baby. test your levels and ask for progesterone support. good luck!
