As stated previously, Ichiro Suzuki has done it 6 years in a row, from 2001 to 2006. Wade Boggs did it seven straight years from 1983 to 1989. Wee Willie Keeler from 1894 to 1901. Al Simmons from 1929 to 1933, and Charlie Gehringer from1933 to 1937.

ichiro just got his sixth straight 200 + hit season today and the other players that have attained the platuea of 200 hits in a season for 5 or more seasons are wade boggs, pete rose,ty cobb,Charlie Gehringer,Steve Garvey ,Kirby Puckett,Bill Terry ,Lou Gehrig ,AI Simmons,Chuck Klein,Paul Waner,George Sisler.Stan Musial ,Rogers Hornsby,Tony Gwynn,Sam Rice with ichiro boggs wheller sisler and musial being in consectutive seasons
