it's not necessarily your lack of wanting to date that is the problem. The problem is that you are "loving" an animated girl. My suggestion is that you go out and find some new kind of hobby and a new group of friends. Social skills are important but not a requirement. It's okay if you don't wish to always hang out with people, but don't blow them off just for your computer. You could miss something really great in your life if you choose that path. It is fine not to date there are people that dont ever date. but to love a person that is ot real is not normal. you may want to go out and see if you really dont want to date or are just scared of what is out there and dont want to get hurt. the real world of datin is gettin hurt but you will oull through it in time and datin can be great if you give it a chance. if you go out you will find the right person to love and love you back and everyone has a soul mate and they are real people

i truly do not get what you mean by animated girl. stay in the real world. but as far as not dating anymore. if you are young, believe me you will go out again. If you are the type of person you seem to me, you seem to be cautious. GOOD FOR YOU if you are. Cause you will be careful of losers. Trust yourself, don't be promiscious.

a lot of teens who like anime when they were young still like anime when they get older. to not want to date means you just haven't met anyone special yet. you're still young. just wait for the right time. don't feel pressured to date just because everyone else is doing so.

Nope, it's socially disfunctional. Could be a symptom of a much larger and more dangerous problem. You probably won't be a danger to yourself or others but even if you love anime it's a painful life.
