I left a message on their cell to call me back and they still never return my call, I know "I" never did anything wrong.

If you know that you never did anything wrong, well then, I think it's time to move on. Forget them (easier said than done, of course) because you don't have to spend your time worrying. I'm quite sure that there are a lot of people out there whom you'd meet who'll really take interest in your friendship. Make new friends. Just be careful this time so you don't have to go through all these a second time. I know it's hard, but one must try.
Now, if your "good" friends try to call you back, they'd better have a good explanation.
Next time, you can start getting their email add so if you can't reach them by phone, you can reach them by email.

How about just the opposite, when you return calls 3 times and they don't return that call. It's just a circle, isn't it? Don't take it personal. Perhaps they haven't checked to see if there were messages for various reasons. Who knows. ......

Then forget them, these people aren't even worth your time. Instead of focusing on the people from your past, get to know new people, and you'd be surprised at how many new friends you can make.

Maybe they didn't get your message or maybe they are totally busy with work/school/family commitments. Sometimes people leave me messages and I can't even hear who it is.
