It's not quite a month yet, but it is probably your cycle starting back. Bleeding from having the baby should have stopped by now. See your doctor.

Since we all realize breastfeeding is best for the baby, I'm assuming that you are going this route. Breastfeeding normally suppresses the cycle, so bleeding would probably be from the birth. There is no need to worry unless there is excessive bleeding or you feel ill and begin to run a fever. This would be a sign of infection and might be helped by a trip to the doctor for medication. However, bleeding and spotting off and on for a couple of months after the birth is entirely normal. But it is also a sign that you may be doing to much and not allowing yourself time to fully recover. Just rest a bit more and enjoy this magical bonding time with your new baby. And BTW- if you are expecting again soon, CONGRATS. You CAN,do it! :-) ....from one mom to another

Without more details . . . normally bleeding will continue for about 3-4 weeks after giving birth. However, you should call your doctor if you are bleeding heavily or anything seems unusual. That is why your doctor is there and it does not hurt to call and ask. And you should not be resuming sexual relations until you get your doctor's approval that you have healed.
Your regular cycle will start back up soon -- again check with your doctor.

this is the hardest thing to figure out, but you suposed to bleed for about 6 weeks and then a month later have your period. you can always call your OB and ask what's what. and remember your really fertile right after giving birth so be careful :)

Not your period... normal bleeding after giving birth. If you're nursing... you probably won't get your period for months.

I really hope you are kidding. If not, please give your child to someone to raise as I don't think you're able.
