What kind of frog do they usually have kids dissect in science class?

Okay maybe I wasn't clear. See we were supposed to dissect these frogs but before one of them was euthanized I saved him and kept him at home with me...I need to know what kind of frog he is so I can properly take care of him. He was the only one of the bunch still alive!!!

I must commend you on saving his life. Unfortunately I had to do it in high school and I now wish I was more forceful with not wanting to. I'm sure you could look on the net for the type of frog. They may not make good pets since they are ment to be in the wild. You could call a wildlife rehabilitation and they can let you know a proper place to release him should you want to, or they can help you with the care for him.

Please can you take a pic, and then re-enter your question with a link to the pic. Nobody will know, they tend to use allsorts of frogs for slicing up. Well done by the way for saving him. The other day my class had to cut up lambs hearts. I refused to do it. The next lesson I was in hospital with whiplash after a fall at school, and the teacher decided that because I wasn't there to complain, they would cut up liver. Very brave and bold of you to save that frog's life. well done. x

just a regular frog... i did it in school and it was disgusting..

we had toads because they were bigger
