Just wondering because I have a PS2 and I have no intentions on getting PS3

Nope, no PS2. FFXIII will be the PS3's first killer game.
There will be a significant number of people who buy a PS3 just for FFXIII, and that's what Sony's counting on.

Just PS3.Final fantasy xiii looks so good that the gameplay looks like a prerenderd movie,see trailer at gametrailers.com.
The good old PS2 can't handle it.

ff xiii will be a ps3 exclusive and there will be three versions of ffxiii and by three versions i mean tthree totaly diff. games with completly diff. storys, first you got final fantasy xiii with the main character as female, second is ff versus xiii with the main character a male being able to controll swords that fly around his body that cause damg. to his enemies and final you got ff agito xiii for the cell phone thats right for the cell phone.
