I will be honest. About 3 hours a day---in the evening. so 21 hours a week. Reading? I would say 1 hour a day. 7 hours. That's a 1/3 of the TV time. What could I be doing in that 21 hours a week. Something better I'm sure.

TV? Far too much probably. Reading? Not as much as I used to.
I think I spend about 10-20 hours/week watching TV, and I read for only a couple (if you don't count the internet - I read a lot online these days and I spend 50-60 hours/week online - 40 of them as a part of my job).

I probably spend 2-3 hours a day"watching" TV, but usually it's just happening in the backround while I'm doing something else (cooking, cleaning, online, and yes, even reading). Reading I do probably 2-3 hours a day as well, also usually while doing other things (eating, using toilet, and of course watching TV).

I would honestly read many more hours a day than watch TV. Weekly? I can read 4 or 5 hours a day and watch TV for maybe 3 or 4 hours "a day".

I don't watch tv these days, but I go on the computer and do a lot of reading from the screen. If I am not doing that, I am reading a book, watching a movie, playing a game, and/or hanging out with friends, or family either in person, or online.

I probally spend about 3 hours a day watching tv, but alot of that is also my kids cartoons. I also like to spend at least an hour a day or more reading when time permits.

I'd say I watch tv about 21 hrs a week, in the evening, but I read about 35 hours a week. I usually go through about a 300 pg. book every day or so.

Reading; That's what I do all day most days, although recreationally, probably about 5 hours/week.
