It's for a college level research paper

It's topic of choice.. I'm just having trouble coming up with ideas because I don't really have much opinion about anything! I just accept everything the way it is!

Umm I don't know how old you are but when I was in 10th grade I did a research paper on Euthanasia. Which is helping someone to pass that has a terminal illness. It is very controversial and has a lot of good info and material. I would check with your teacher if you are young though just to make sure it is okay. The other good topic is abortion. But that is a common one but Euthanasia isn't.

Well that's your first problem - a research paper is not an opinion paper!

Choose a non-controversial topic, such as the mating habits of the mot mot, how movie auditions are run, why it is more expensive to buy healthy food (versus junk food.) Seriously, apples are $1.69 a pound but you can get a double cheeseburger for 99 cents . . .

I suggest that you research the problem with plagiarism in american universities, especially with respect to Engineering. It's HUGE, and more widespread than you would imagine. Almost every engineering department/school/college in the nation is having serious problems because of it.
