Needing Website Designed?

I am desperately searching for someone whom might be able to help me design a website. No big deal right??? Wrong! I don't have jack for money to spend on it. Let me know any ideas/suggestios that you have.

I'm currently learning website design (like I'm pretty good, but I'm still an intermediate). I'd be willing to design it for free, depending on what you want and what it's for. I'd love to do this, because every new website I do is a new learning experience. But I might say no after you tell me everything you want, because I don't have the tools like Flash and knowlege of PHP or Apache(security). It just depends. You're talking about a $1500+ job for a simple website.

But to help you learn, well, that's a bit difficult. I've read 8 books so far, and learned 3 programming languages. I'm also learing graphic arts and typography. It's alot more difficult than you think. If you want a simple, ammateur website, I suggest you go to your local bookstore and buy "Using HTML4" from QUE. It's been very helpfull. I can set you up with a domain mane (of your choosing) and hosting for as little as $24.00 a year.... yes, that's a year, not a month...
