If you are looking for a quality system...go with Alienware, Dell, Lenovo (Thinkpad). Avoid Compaq, HP, Toshiba, or Sony. I have an Alienware desktop running strong for a longtime. And actually I will be getting an Alienware laptop within a month. I love my Alienware : )

i bought mine from dell but, personally speaking for myself, their customer service after the sell isn't the greatest......i've had mine for less than 2 years and i think i'll buy apple the next time to check out their operating system..
