I am concerned about productivity so I have question about this. Is there anything can be done to change this attitude?

Sometimes it is useful to be un-productive. Make time for details in your life, enjoy everything around you and appreciate small things you did not notice before.
Time is gold, but that does not always mean being productive. Sharing time with people you love is also a way to creating 'golden times'.

There are several answers to that question, all of which are valid. For one, may people are not productive, or at least are less productive, due to fear. They procrastinate. Also, burn-out is a HUGE problem. Also, many people never learn how to schedule anything, including leisure time. I personally recommend teaching people how to effectively schedule their lives so that they can avoid burn-out and still maintain maximum efficiency.

Do you mean at work, out of work time or anytime in general? Unproductivity at work is acceptable, but, only, at a minimum, it may be necessary for a variety of reasons. Any more than that, don't worry about it, if it is not you. You'll receive promotions or earn more money before they do. Out of work: why do you care either? If you want to be competitive, that is up to you. Why would you care about changing people's attitudes? If people want to drink beer and watch tv, maybe they are enhancing their inner soul, according to them and who knows? ...... maybe they will live longer for it.

I don't think unnecessary activites is wasting time. Like doing these Answers...it isn't necessary, but it's fun. Life is no fun if you can't sit back and relax a little. No one ever went to their death bed saying..."I wish I had worked more."
